Siliguri, 01st November: Vishva Hindu Parishad’s Bajrang Dal organized voluntary blood and eye donation camp at the Eastern Bypass Dhakeshwari Mandir.
The organizers aim to collect about 100 units of blood, which will be given to the Rotary Blood Bank.
It is to be noted that several members of Vishva Hindu Parishad lost their lives during an event in Ayodhya on November 2, 1990. Hence, every year the day is observed to commemorate the departed souls.
Accordingly, a blood and eye donation camp was organized in two places across the city today.
