Siliguri, 19th July: Van Mahotsav program is celebrated every year from July 14 to July 20 all over the state. Today, 1000 saplings were distributed to the passers-by on behalf of Aranya branch Darjeeling district of West Bengal State Government Federation.
In this regard, the organization’s secretary Ashok Banerjee stated that 1000 saplings were distributed with a message to safeguard the greenery for the citizens.
