Siliguri, 19th July: Dr Susanta Roy, OSD of Public Health Department, North Bengal informed that from now on, vaccination camps will be organized in all the wards of Siliguri.
A meeting was held between the District Magistrate and the health department at the State Guest House today. Discussions were held about organizing vaccination camps in all the wards. Ward-based vaccination camps will be organized in the coming days.
OSD Dr Susanta Roy said that a proposal has been given to the health department to address problems regarding vaccination. Camps will be organized in the wards of SMC similar to Jalpaiguri.
500 people will be vaccinated in a single day, out of which, 100 will be mothers. He added that there is a problem with vaccination at the moment due to the low supply of vaccines.
