Rajganj, 25th January: Jalpaiguri District Council President Uttara Barman laid the foundation stone of a paved road, on Tuesday.
The road will be constructed from Paglupara more of Binnaguri gram panchayat in Rajganj block to Kamatpara Bangiphata more at a cost of around 33 lakh rupees.
In this regard, Jalpaiguri District Council President Uttara Barman said that the locals had been demanding this road for a long time. This will benefit the residents of the area to a great extent.
Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, Binnaguri Anchal Pradhan Shashi Chandra Barman and others were present at the programme.
