Siliguri, 01st March: On the occasion of International Mother Language Day which is celebrated on February 21, a free health check-up and a blood donation camp was organized today on behalf of the Uttar Kakoli Sanskritik Mancha.
Reportedly, 30 units of blood were collected during the camp and sent to the blood bank of the Lions Club. Besides, around 100 people got their eyes examined and 500 got their health check-up done during the camp.
The organizational members stated that such an initiative has been taken to help the needy.
