Jalpaiguri, 21st January: A painting competition was organized at the Town Club of Jalpaiguri, today, on the second day of the Uttar Banga Utsav. The theme of the competition for the children from classes 1-4 was ‘Nature’, while the theme of the competition for the children from classes 5-8 was ‘Water Conservation’.
Around 400 students from different schools participated in the competition. Shah Jahan Alam, Nirmal Sarkar, Pramit Aich, Jayant Das and many other people from the Utsav Committee were present during the competition.
