Siliguri, 21st December: The much-awaited Uttar Banga Poush Mela 2024 commenced on Saturday with a grand and vibrant procession.
As per reports, the Poush Mela has been organized, as every year, on the banks of the Mahananda River near Suryasen Park in Siliguri. The fair opened with a vibrant procession and will feature various attractions, including ‘Puli’ and other traditional delicacies. Around 40 stalls are being set up this year to cater to visitors.
The fair will continue until January 2, offering a blend of cultural programs and entertainment for attendees. In this regard, Vidyapati Agarwal shared that the Poush Mela is an annual tradition, promising a festive experience for everyone.
