Rajganj, 29th March: Stir ensued after an unidentified body of a person was recovered from Fulbari’s Mahananda Barrage on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the residents spotted the dead body at the lock gate of the barrage. After this, the police of Phansidewa police station were informed and cops reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for postmortem.
The police have been investigating further into the matter. Local people stated that at times dead bodies flow from elsewhere and emerge near the barrage. Likewise, they assume that a similar incident might have occurred when a dead body was found this morning.
