Fulbari, 17th August: Sensation prevailed after the body of an unidentified man was found along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway (NH).
As per reports, on Thursday, the commuters spotted the lifeless body lying along the said NH in the Jiaganj area adjacent to Fulbari. Subsequently, the matter was informed to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Police. Upon receiving the news, police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and transported it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. However, at the time of the report, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. Currently, the matter is under police investigation.
