Naxalbari, 05th August: Sensation spread at Shanti Nagar in Naxalbari, after the discovery of an unidentified body on Monday.
Reportedly, local residents found the body on the footpath of the service road and promptly informed the police. Officers from Naxalbari police station arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
Initial police assessments suggest the deceased may be a vagrant. Efforts are ongoing to identify the individual, and the police are actively investigating the incident.
