Siliguri, 21st November: An unclaimed bag left near the Jalpai More traffic point in Siliguri caused commotion for some time on Thursday. The bag, lying unattended near the busy traffic spot, raised suspicions among locals, sparking concerns about its contents.
Upon receiving the information, traffic personnel and officers from the Siliguri Police Station promptly arrived at the scene to investigate. The bag was thoroughly searched, and the mystery was soon resolved. Upon opening the bag, it was found to contain clothes, shoes, and slippers, easing the tension.
According to police sources, it is believed that the bag may have been accidentally left behind by a passenger near Jalpai More. After completing their investigation, the police recovered the unclaimed bag and took it to the police station. Efforts are underway to locate its rightful owner.
