Siliguri, 01 October: On Sunday, the “Swachhta Hi Seva” program is being observed all across the nation. In this regard, Union Minister (UM) Smriti Irani actively participated in the program held at the Atal Tea Estate in Naxalbari. The event was attended by Union Minister, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, BJP Observer Mangal Pandey, and others.
According to reports, in addition to participating, the Union Minister interacted with the local tea workers and listened to their concerns. In addition, she met the tea workers prior to the “Chai Shramik Samavesh” program in Dagapur in Siliguri and promised to resolve their issues. The workers expressed contentment on seeing the minister.
