Kharibari, 16th July: In a recent development, police from Kharibari’s Panitanki Outpost arrested two youths, identified as Vishal Saha (20) and Rajat Saha (25), both residents of Ashighar in Siliguri, for possession of brown sugar.
Acting on a tip-off, the Panitanki Outpost police apprehended the youths in a suspicious condition at Panitanki attached Quarter More. A search revealed 560 grams of brown sugar in their possession. The arrested individuals were then taken to Kharibari police station.
On Tuesday, both youths were presented in Siliguri Magistrate Court. The police are currently investigating the entire matter.
