Siliguri, 03rd April: Two members of a gang who conned people on the pretext of providing internet connection were arrested from Burdwan Road, on Saturday. The identity of the arrested has not been disclosed as of now.
According to the information received, two youths reached an apartment on Burdwan Road to install the setup for internet connection. During which, Manish Agarwal, the resident of the apartment identified the duo as fraudsters and informed the Khalpara police. After receiving the news police reached the spot and took the two accused into custody.
Manish Agarwal stated, that earlier he paid the duo for the internet connection. When the service did not work, he went through the connection and he realized that he was conned. The police are trying to nab the entire gang and have initiated an investigation.
