Two voters with special needs cast vote from home in Rajganj

Rajganj, 10th April: On Wednesday, two voters with special needs from Ambari of the Rajganj block participated in the voting process from the comfort of their homes for the Lok Sabha elections.


It is to be noted that as per the announcement by the Election Commission, voting has commenced with the home voting procedure in the state for the first time and will continue until April 14. Individuals aged over 85 years and those with at least 40% disabilities, including police personnel, the differently-abled, railway employees, and those availing of 18 emergency services, are eligible for this service.

Reportedly, two election officers, central forces personnel, a videographer, and security personnel have facilitated the voting process. On Wednesday, the two voters with special needs from Ambari cast their votes at home.
