Siliguri, 01st August: In a recent development, two more individuals have been arrested by the Siliguri police to commit a planned robbery. The arrested suspects have been identified as Shambhu Roy and Toton Mondal.
As per reports, on July 30, around ten youths had gathered in the Tikiapara area of Siliguri with the intent to execute a robbery. Following a police raid, three individuals from the group were initially arrested. On Wednesday night, police apprehended two additional members of the group and recovered sharp weapons from their possession.
On Thursday, the accused were produced before the Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court.
