Two missing minors from Rajganj returns home with the help of ‘Green Jalpaiguri’

Rajganj, 10th March: Two minors, who went missing around a year ago, returned home with the help of the voluntary organization ‘Green Jalpaiguri’. The incident surfaced from the Ambari Gadheyagach area.


As per the reports, Fulchan Oraon and his wife Fukumoni Oraon are tea garden workers. They have four sons and two daughters. In March last year, their two sons Joy Prakash Oraon (12) and Ashik Oraon (10) went missing.

Ankur Das, general secretary of Green Jalpaiguri, said that a few days ago, the Child Welfare Committee of Dhanbad notified that two boys from Jalpaiguri have been in their custody since March 22 last year. After being able to locate their families, Majid Alam, the president of Green Jalpaiguri, went to Dhanbad and brought the two minors back home. He added that as the family is very poor, the government should provide them some help.
