Cooch Behar, 05th July: Sensation prevailed in the area as two live explosives were recovered in front of the temporary office of a Congress candidate of booth number 227 in the Bari area of East Khat, under Hazrahat Gram Panchayat-II of Mathabhanga Block No. 01.
Reportedly, the local residents of the place gathered in the area as soon as the news got out. In the meantime, the police arrived at the scene and recovered two bombs immediately after receiving the information. The members and supporters of the Indian National Congress (INC) party in the area asserted that a number of unidentified miscreants planted bombs in the neighbourhood in the dead of the night to spread terror. On the other hand, the local Trinamool officials urged the police to immediately track down those involved in the incident.
