Rajganj, 06th March: In an unfortunate event, two youths were killed in a road accident in Rajganj, on Friday night. The incident took place in the Bhandaguri area of Shikarpur Gram Panchayat under Rajganj block. The area is in mourning after the horrific incident.
The victims identified as Ajit Roy (28) and Uddhav Roy (18) were residents of the Baniapara area under Pankouri Gram Panchayat.
According to the victim’s family and local sources, at around 8 pm on Friday, the two youths were returning home after work from the Gazoldoba area when their bike lost control in the Bhandagudi area and hit a tree.
The two were recovered in a critical condition and taken to Rajganj Rural Hospital, where doctors declared them dead. Police have sent both the bodies for post-mortem and have started investigating the incident.
