Rajganj, 28th January: A horrifying incident surfaced where two individuals sustained injuries in a collision between an e-rickshaw (toto) and a two-wheeler at the Bandhu Nagar More of Rajganj on Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway.
Local sources claimed that the toto was crossing the road when the speeding motorcycle travelling from Siliguri accidentally crashed into the vehicle. As a result, both the biker and the toto driver sustained injuries.
Following the incident, the Ambari Outpost police, with the assistance of locals, rescued the injured and sent them to a private hospital in Fulbari for treatment. Significantly, the incident prompted the local residents to demand traffic management at the Bandhu Nagar More.
Meanwhile, the cops of Ambari Outpost retrieved both the vehicles involved in the accident and initiated an investigation into the entire scenario.
