Alipurduar, 14th March: Before the announcement of Lok Sabha elections, all major parties have announced their candidates. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has fielded Alipurduar District TMC President and Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Chik Baraik as its candidate, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced Alipurduar District President and Madarihat MLA Manoj Tigga as its candidate.
Reportedly, the district presidents of both the parties have started vigorous campaigning in several locations in Alipurduar Lok Sabha Constituency. On Thursday, Prakash Chik Baraik and Manoj Tigga continued with their campaign since morning.
