Naxalbari, 29th January: Sensation prevailed in the area of Naxalbari’s Asian Highway 2 of Bengai Jote after a head-on collision between two four-wheelers claimed the lives of two people and five were injured.
Reportedly, the said four-wheeler was coming from Bihar towards Siliguri. On the other hand, another vehicle was heading towards Naxalbari when both vehicles went rampant and collided head-on in Bengai Jote. The tragic accident has claimed the lives of two people, while five have sustained injuries.
However, the five injured were rescued and taken to Naxalbari Hospital, where after first aid were referred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Both the deceased youths were residents of Bihar. The Naxalbari police are probing the entire incident.
