Siliguri, 14th March: A two-day mega museum exhibition commenced at the Akshaya Kumar Maitreya Heritage Museum of North Bengal University. In the exhibition, the culture of the different communities of North Bengal including various stalls comprising historical coins, stamp papers of British period, miniature paintings in pencil, terracotta art exhibition, handicrafts of Mednipur, have been presented.
Reportedly, on Thursday, students from various schools including schools from Siliguri participated in the exhibition. Speaking at the occassion, Museum Supervisor Dr. Malay Saha stated that the vibrant culture of the people of the hills and the plain have been highlighted in the two-day mega museum exhibition. He added that, the event would assist researchers in their works and research.
