Two arrested with over 7000 intoxicating tablets in Siliguri

Siliguri, 07th June: Pradhan Nagar Police arrested two people with banned tablets. The arrested accused have been identified as Sanoj Sahani and Pritam Paul. Sanoj Sahani is a resident of Kulipara and Pritam Paul is a resident of Baghajatin Colony.


As per the report, the police had received information that two people were seen selling intoxicating pills near the SNT bus stand area near Junction. Based on this, the police launched operations and nabbed the duo red-handed in the said area. Around seven thousand banned tablets were recovered from their possession.

Police registered a case under the NDPS Act and presented both the accused at the Siliguri court today. An investigation has been launched into the whole matter.
