Phansidewa, 05th June: In a significant achievement, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) arrested two individuals with 100 grams of brown sugar in the Ghoshpukur area of Phansidewa. The suspects, identified as Anjan Mallik and Sayan Sarkar, are residents of the Dalkhola area.
Reportedly, the arrest occurred during a routine search operation, where along with the brown sugar, a laptop was also recovered from the accused. The SSB later handed over the suspects to the Phansidewa police station.
On Wednesday, both accused were presented in Siliguri court. The police have launched a thorough investigation into the incident to uncover further details.
