Cooch Behar, 14th January: Based on a tip-off, the Cooch Behar Kotwali Police launched operations at Maghpala Sungsungi Bazar area and arrested two men along with 94 kgs of cannabis.
The arrested accused have been identified as Kamalakanta Barman and Sanjit Barman. A motorcycle has also been seized from their possession.
According to police sources, the cannabis was being smuggled to Assam. The duo was produced before the court today.
