Two arrested with 300 grams of brown sugar in Rajganj

Rajganj, 11th February: Cops of Ambari Out Post intercepted a scooter at Nawapara located on Ambari Canal Road of Fulbari after receiving a tip-off regarding a possible drug deal. Two youths on the scooter, identified as Shiva Chakraborty and Pratap Thapa and residents of Salugara, were searched. 300 grams of brown sugar estimated to be worth around Rs 10 lakh was recovered from their possession. Both were immediately taken into custody. They were produced before the Jalpaiguri district court today. Police are investigating the entire incident.
