Siliguri, 01st September: Pradhan Nagar Police arrested two persons for attempting to rob two ATMs in Siliguri.
During a press conference at Pradhan Nagar police station on Tuesday, ACP Chandan Das maintained that on August 26 night, several miscreants attempted to rob an ATM in the Samar Nagar Battala area. Police arrested Amal Roy, the prime accused of the case, within 72 hours of the incident. Furthermore, the police recovered broken ATMs and various parts from the Mahananda River.
In a separate case, ASI Asit Das arrested Rana Tigga alias Sourav also for attempting to rob an ATM in Pradhan Nagar police station area on August 28. The arrested individuals have been taken into police custody for 5 days.
