Siliguri, 25th July: In a significant breakthrough, NJP police station officers have arrested two individuals in connection with a recent temple theft in the Fulbari area. The suspects, identified as Zahidur Ali and Mehboob Khan, have been taken into custody, and the stolen goods have been recovered.
Reportedly, the theft occurred recently at a temple in Fulbari. Following the incident, the police launched an investigation that led to the arrest of Zahidul Ali. During his remand, Ali provided information that led to Mehboob Khan’s apprehension on Wednesday night. All the stolen items were found in the possession of the suspects.
The arrested individuals were presented before the Jalpaiguri court on Thursday.
