Siliguri, 08th October: Susanta Barman and Raj Das were arrested for attacking a Toto driver in Siliguri.
Reportedly, Gourav Dutta was allegedly attacked by six to seven youths on October 05 in NJP’s Shaheed Colony area. After the incident, he was rescued in a critically injured condition and rushed to North Bengal Medical College-Hospital and later admitted to a nursing home in Siliguri. He is currently undergoing treatment.
The family lodged a complaint at the NJP police station. On the basis of the complaint, the police arrested Susanta Barman and Raj Das from Shaheed Colony on Friday morning. The police have started searching for the rest of the gang. The arrested individuals were produced at the Jalpaiguri court today.
