Kharibari, 17th May: An incident of mishap surfaced where a truck full of ice-cream met with an accident in Kharibari.
As per reports, the incident occurred after an onion-laden truck abruptly came to a halt. Meanwhile, the ice-cream truck travelling behind was unable to pull the brakes on times. Consequently, the vehicle lost control and crashed into the rear of the onion truck. The frontal portion of the ice-cream truck sustained significant damage.
The ice cream truck was on its way from Lucknow to Siliguri at the time of the accident. The onion truck, however, fled the scene shortly after the collision. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported in the incident.
