Siliguri, 07th May: A truck rampage left one biker dead and another injured in the Gora More area of Fubari No.1 circle. The incident took place on Saturday night when a truck hit two bikes from behind. The police were immediately alerted, and they rushed to the spot to rescue the injured rider.
As per police sources, the incident occurred due to the reckless driving of the truck driver. The truck hit both the bikes from behind, and as a result, one rider lost his life on the spot, while the other rider suffered severe injuries. The injured rider was quickly taken to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
The NJP police have started an investigation into the entire incident to gather more details and identify the cause of the accident.
