Siliguri, 05th March: A ‘Dhikkar Rally’ was staged by the Trinamool Congress Workers’ organizations, under the leadership of the Trinamool Congress leader Arup Ratan Ghosh, against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA), the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the National Population Register (NPR), the increase in the price of the daily commodities and the Delhi riots. The rally commenced from Siliguri’s Mallaguri and concluded at Air View More.
The rally was attended by the activists of the INTTUC Workers organization of the Trinamool Congress and the activists of the organization of various blocks.
Slogans were chanted against the Central Government, during the rally. Arup Ratan Ghosh stated that the ‘Dhikkar Rally’ was staged against the policies of the Central Government and the Delhi riots.
