Siliguri, 28th January: The SC and OBC cell of Trinamool Congress organized a public outreach program in the Dakshin Ektiasal Pipeline area under Dabgram-Fulbari assembly constituency. With upcoming elections in mind, the program aimed to establish direct dialogue with the public and strengthen the party’s organization.
During the event, underprivileged women in the area were distributed sarees and blankets. Discussions were also held with local residents on various Trinamool welfare schemes, social security, and developmental initiatives.
The event was attended by Krishna Das, coordinator of Jalpaiguri, Rajganj, and Dabgram assembly constituencies and president of Jalpaiguri district SC-OBC cell, as the chief guest. Social worker J. P. Kanadia, former Dabgram II Panchayat head Sudha Singh Chatterjee, Ward 38 councillor and MMIC Dulal Dutta, Ward 36 councillor Ranjan Sil Sharma, former Ward 40 councillor Satyajit Adhikari, along with other leaders and party workers, were also present.
Trinamool leadership stated that the main objective of the outreach program was to strengthen the organization by increasing engagement with the public ahead of the upcoming elections.
