Siliguri, 17th May: The Trinamool Legal Cell today demonstrated at Siliguri court in protest against the attack on lawyer Kalyan Bandopadhyay in Kolkata.
It is to be noted, earlier today, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) launched parallel raids and detained TMC ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee and MLA Madan Mitra in its probe in the Narada sting case. During this time, Advocate Kalyan Bandopadhyay reached the agency to provide legal services to the arrested ministers. It is alleged that the central force attacked the lawyer.
Protesting the incident, lawyers of the Trinamool Legal Cell staged a protest in Siliguri’s court premises. They staged protests by wearing black cloths in their mouths.
