Rajganj, 22nd January: Sensation prevailed after the car of Atiyar Rahman (TMC Deputy Pradhan of Rajganj Sannyasikata region) was vandalized, on Thursday night. He, as well as three other TMC leaders, were injured in the course.
As per the report, the TMC delegates were returning home in Sannyasikata from Belakoba, during which, they were attacked and their vehicle was allegedly vandalized in the Kayetgachh area, 5 km away from Rajganj police station. A large police force reached the spot after receiving the news.
The locals apparently rushed to the scene upon hearing the noise and saw the driver lying unconscious and the deputy pradhan lying on the ground. Allegations have been raised against BJP concerning the incident. However, the party denied all allegations.
On Friday morning, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy and other TMC leaders reached Rajganj police station and demanded the arrest of the culprits.
