Trinamool holds protest rally and meeting in Belakoba alleging BJP’s suppression policy and SIR

Rajganj, 28th January: A protest rally and meeting were organized by the Trinamool Congress in Belakoba, alleging the BJP government’s suppression policy and the SIR project. The rally, initiated by Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress, started from Belakoba’s Shikarpur area office corner and concluded at Shikarpur market on Wednesday.


Several hundreds Trinamool workers and supporters participated in the rally. After the march, a protest meeting was held in Shikarpur market. Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy strongly criticized the BJP government’s anti-public policies and suppression in his speech at the meeting.

District President of INTTUC, Tapan Dey, and Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress President Arindam Banerjee also addressed the gathering.


The meeting was attended by Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Sabhapati Rupali Dey Sarkar, Rajganj Block Mahila Trinamool Congress Chairperson Sarbani Dhara, INTUC Block President Sheikh Umar Farooq, Archana Roy, Sattam Dutta, Nur Islam, and several other Trinamool Congress leaders and workers.
