Rajganj, 01st January: The 29th foundation day of the Trinamool Congress was observed with enthusiasm in Rajganj on Thursday, along with the inauguration of a party office. The programme was organised at the Karatoya area of Majhiali under Rajganj, where MLA Khageswar Roy hoisted the party flag and cut a cake to mark the occasion.
DPSC chairman Lakshya Mohan Roy, INTTUC president Tapan Dey, Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress president Arindam Banerjee, Sheikh Omar Farooq and several other party leaders and workers were present at the event.
During the programme, discussions were held on the party’s history, ideology and future goals, with leaders emphasising strengthening the organisation and expanding its outreach among the people.
