Trinamool Congress launches ‘Unnayan Samvad Yatra’ in Rajganj to spread development message

Rajganj, 13th January: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘Unnayan Samvad Yatra’ in Rajganj to communicate the state government’s development initiatives directly to the public and engage in grassroots dialogue. The journey began in Mantadari Gram Panchayat within the Rajganj assembly constituency with a ceremonial puja at a local temple.


Three separate teams have been formed to ensure the smooth conduct of the yatra. Tuesday’s team included an eight-member delegation along with local leadership. The initiative will run across various gram panchayats of Rajganj from 13th to 27th January.

The yatra is led by Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, with participation from Rajganj Block TMC president Arindam Banerjee, TMC women leader Sarbani Dhara, TMC youth president Niladri Ghosh, and leaders and workers including Archana Roy, Raju Sahni, Devashish Biswas, and Mosharraf Hussain.


During the campaign, participants informed residents about various government welfare schemes such as Lakshmir Bhandar, Kanyashree, Swasthya Sathi, and Sabooj Sathi. Citizens’ concerns and complaints were also heard, with assurances of redressal provided by the TMC teams.
