Tremors felt in Bengal as a 5.6-magnitude earthquake strikes Bangladesh

In a recent seismic event, West Bengal experienced mild tremors when an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 struck Bangladesh earlier on Saturday.


According to reports, the earthquake struck at 9:05 a.m. in southeast Bangladesh at a depth of 55 km. According to officials from the West Bengal Disaster Management, there has been no confirmed damage to property or life, and no reports of harm have been recorded from the state.
