Rajganj, 20th March: On Tuesday night, rainfall and the accompanying wind resulted in the fall of trees and electric pole on the road leaving the residents of Chhatarpara adjacent to Sahudangi of Rajganj block in trouble. The incident led to the disruption of traffic and power services in the area.
As per reports, during the rain last night at around 1 a.m. a tree collapsed on the roadside in the Chhatarpara area of Ambari-Sahudangi state road. Additionally, an electric pole on the side of the road was also uprooted, hampering electricity services and causing traffic congestion in the area. After the incident, the locals have reported the matter to the administration and the electricity department.
