Siliguri, 14th February: 14th February which is celebrated as Valentine’s Day, all over the world, is also a dark day in the history of our nation as 40 Jawans were martyred in a terrorist attack in Pulwama, on 14th February 2019.
Commemorating the martyrs, 40 tree saplings were planted at the Vibgyor Club in Siliguri on behalf of the Unique Foundation team. The members of the Club stated that they have planted trees of different species paying tribute to those brave martyrs. During the event, Ward Councillor Ranjan Sarkar paid tribute to the brave jawans and also planted tree saplings.
