Siliguri, 07th August: Siliguri Municipal Corporation has been taking different initiatives to make the city more sustainable and healthier.
One such initiative was held today where Siliguri’s Mayor Goutam Deb planted tree saplings in Navagram and Laketown under Ward No. 33 of Siliguri. The mayor stated that this program was organised to create awareness among the people and make the city clean and green. He further added that in the coming days, the city will experience the tree plantation programs in all the wards of SMC.
