Bagdogra, 14th July: In celebration of Van Mahotsav, the Bagdogra Forest Department, along with JFMC members, organized a tree plantation drive. On Sunday, 1000 saplings were planted in the Tirhana area.
Various species, including Shishu and Shimul, were planted during the event. Key attendees included Ranger Sonam Bhutia, Deputy Ranger Wangtu Lama, and Beat Officer Vijay Rai from the Bagdogra Forest Department. The department will monitor the growth of the planted trees to ensure their development.
