Siliguri, 22nd April: Strong winds, accompanied by lightning and rains uprooted a tree that fell on the roof of Bapuji Vidyamandir Primary School in Siliguri’s Rathkhola, on Thursday. Several damages were reported in the incident.
In this regard, the headmistress of the school Sanghamitra Chanda said that the entire school premises is flooded with rainwater and all the important documents are inside the building.
“If it rains again, there will be huge problems. Prompt action has to be taken,” she said.
