Siliguri, 19th September: A training camp has been organized in Siliguri for tourist car drivers. The camp was held at a hotel in Hillcart Road on Sunday on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism and with the assistance of the Himalayan Hospitality and Tourism Development Network.
Apart from Siliguri, training will also be given to drivers in Darjeeling and Kalimpong. Training is being given regarding the dos and don’ts and how to pay attention to safety while driving with tourists.
Besides, 30 guides will be trained in Dooars on how to work as tourist guides.
