Siliguri, 26th April: A youth died in a road accident on Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das flyover in Siliguri on Saturday morning, while another seriously injured youth is undergoing treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, two friends were crossing the flyover on a scooter on Saturday morning. Suddenly, their scooter went out of control and collided with the railing on the flyover. Both youths were seriously injured in this accident and were immediately rushed to Siliguri District Hospital.
The doctors declared a youth named Suraj Das dead. Another youth, Mohammad Amon, has been admitted to a private nursing home in Siliguri in critical condition. It is being stated that he has suffered serious injuries in his legs, face, and various parts of his body.
