Siliguri, 02nd December: Siliguri Traffic Police have launched an operation to clear roads and sidewalks across the city. In recent days, the department has conducted multiple drives in various areas to ensure smooth traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
On Tuesday, a special drive was carried out on Bidhan Road to free the sidewalks that have long been occupied by shopkeepers placing their goods outside. Despite repeated warnings to the shop owners, the issue persisted.
During the latest operation, police once again issued warnings, stating that if the goods are not removed, all items will be confiscated.
