Naxalbari, 27th July: The Naxalbari Tractor Association staged a protest in front of the residence of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh in Naxalbari. They demanded immediate action from the administration to remove the stored sand and stones despite a standing order to do so until September 30.
Association member Piyush Chakraborty expressed discontent, stating that the police are hindering the implementation of the order. The protesters urged the Sabhadhipati to promptly resolve the issue. A memorandum was also handed over to the Sabhadhipati during the meeting, and he assured that he would discuss the matter with the administration to find a resolution.
