The total number of confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in India has escalated to 93, with two deaths that have been reported so far. A 76-year-old man, from Karnataka, died after returning from Saudi Arabia on February 29, while a 69-year-old woman in Delhi became the second coronavirus fatality in India on March 13.
The Ministry of Home Affairs announced coronavirus as a ‘notified disaster’ in the country. Maharashtra reported the maximum number of cases at 31. The number of COVID-19 cases has passed 1.5 lakh globally with more than 5,760 deaths. Mainland China now has 80,824 coronavirus cases and 3,189 deaths.
